The Climate Organizing Hub is a new formation looking to be a focal point to run campaigns against the fossil fuel industry by partnering with frontline community groups and individual activists. Their work is entrenched in the belief that those most impacted by the effects of climate change need to be concentrated in the fight, and that the most meaningful way to stop the devastating impacts of climate change is to dismantle the fossil fuel industry.
The Climate Organizing Hub is looking for an exceptional Senior Organizing Director responsible for developing and leading strategic campaigns and initiatives. The ideal candidate is is an experienced and innovative organizer with knowledge of grassroots organizing and coalitional spaces who understands the intersection of climate change and racial and economic inequality and of the urgency of issues facing BIPOC communities.
As the Senior Organizing Director, you are a collaborative leader who is bilingual in English and Spanish. You build and maintain stakeholder engagement and serve as a public spokesperson for the organization whilst also developing and managing budgets and leading fundraising efforts.
