On behalf of our client, the Africa Constituency Bureau, we are on the lookout for an experienced Policy Analyst who will support the Executive Director in providing leadership and strategic guidance on how Africa can maximize the impact of Global Fund support to end the three epidemics – HIV, TB and Malaria.
The Africa Constituency Bureau (ACB) headquartered in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia ensures effective participation of Africa Constituencies in Eastern and Southern Africa and West and Central Africa in Global Fund Board processes. The Bureau supports more effective engagement, representation and participation of the Africa constituencies in Global Fund processes as well as enhancing the capacity of the Africa constituencies to shape Global Fund policies and processes.
Under the oversight of the ED, the incumbent will take the lead on specific policy-related and technical issues in relation to the 3-diseases portfolio. S/he will contribute towards the development of policy and guidelines within the ACB, as well as at global level through regular interaction with the relevant technical agencies and regional partners.
To succeed in this role, it is essential that you’ve had a minimum of ten years’ experience working within Africa and internationally on malaria, HIV and TB prevention programs, treatment, care and support, including program design and implementation, research and policy development.
