About the Speaker
Sebastian is the Chief Partnerships Officer (CPO) of Simprints, a non-profit tech company with a mission is to transform the way the world fights poverty. Simprints builds technology to radically increase transparency and effectiveness in global development, making sure that every vaccine, every dollar, every public good reaches the people who need them most. Simprints is operational in over a dozen countries, has reached over 850,000 individuals, and is supporting partners such as Gavi, Mercy Corps, and the Ethiopian Ministry of Health.
As the CPO at Simprints, Sebastian’s task is to drive Simprints towards commercial sustainability and spearheading Simprints’ advocacy work globally to improve the privacy standards in the biometrics and international development industries. Sebastian is a serial entrepreneur with degrees in Development Economics from the University College London and the University of Cambridge.
