C40 Cities consists of nearly 100 mayors of the world’s leading cities, working together to deliver the urgent action needed to confront the climate crisis, and create a thriving future for all. Through a Global Green New Deal, mayors are working alongside a broad coalition of representatives from labour, business, the youth climate movement, and civil society to go further and faster than ever before.
In this key organizational role, you’ll spearhead regionally aligned climate action delivery to cities, playing a pivotal role in fostering strong connections with C40 member cities, mayors and regional government, ensuring their satisfaction and effective engagement in global climate initiatives.
Your expertise will support Vice Chairs and region-specific initiatives, amplifying impact within and beyond C40 membership whilst overseeing the development and implementation of the C40 Regional Business Plan, and offering strategic guidance for technical assistance programs.
With a focus on relationship-building and strategic oversight, your leadership will contribute to advancing climate action on a global scale. This role offers a platform to highlight your mentorship, diplomacy, and stewardship skills as you champion the region and empower your team to drive meaningful change.
