Founded in 2010, FRIDA | The Young Feminist Fund is the only youth-led fund focused exclusively on supporting young feminist activism to advance social justice movements and agendas across the globe. FRIDA believes in the collective power, expertise, and innovation of young feminist organizers to address root causes and structures of inequality in order to create lasting change in their communities.
Having experienced rapid growth in size in recent years, one of the organizational priorities is to ensure that the focus is on engaging with grantee partners in various parts of the globe. In line with this, NGO Recruit Partners is supporting FRIDA to recruit a Senior Program Officer (CEECCNA), a Program Officer (SWANA), and a Program Officer (WESCA) to strengthen its Grantmaking team.
The Senior Program Officer will oversee participatory grantmaking, creating external visibility and representation for FRIDA, participating in strategic planning, and maintaining regular communication with grantee partners in the Central Eastern Europe, Caucasus, and Central and North Asia (CEECCNA) region.
The Program Officer (SWANA) will be responsible for grantmaking, assisting with the development, implementation, and maintenance of FRIDA’s grantmaking systems, and providing support to advisors in the South-West Asia/North African (SWANA) region.
The Program Officer (WESCA) will be in charge of planning and implementing FRIDA’s grantmaking processes, operational work, and engagement with grantee partners in the West, East, South, and Central Africa (WESCA) region.
