NGO Recruit has partnered with Nonviolent Peaceforce once again; this time in search of a Head of Programme for their South Sudan Office.
Nonviolent Peaceforce (NP) is a dynamic, international non-governmental organization that work to reduce violence and protect civilians in countries affected by violent conflict and its aftermath. They have been breaking the cycles of violence, building lasting peace and transforming the way the world responds to conflict for the past 22 years, by implementing programmes through the deployment of civilian protection teams to the field to meet the growing needs in communities. These Programmes are focused on protection in displacement, child protection, gender-based violence protection, inter-communal violence reduction, social cohesion and civic engagement.
The Head of Programme will work closely with the Head of Mission and Director of Operations serving as part of the leadership team in South Sudan to drive overall vision and strategy.
We are looking for a dynamic and mature servant-leader, capable of building relationships and engaging communities, adept at working with people from diverse backgrounds, skilful in programme management, donor engagement, and committed to peacebuilding.
