Our partner organisation, C40 Cities, is in search of a Regional Director, Africa.
C40 Cities is a global network of nearly 100 of the world’s most ambitious city leaders, united in their commitment to tackling the climate crisis and creating a sustainable future for all.
As Regional Director, you will play a vital role in shaping C40’s work across sub-Saharan Africa, working closely with cities, mayors, and regional governments to drive bold, collaborative action.
We are seeking an experienced leader with a deep understanding of the African continent, strong expertise in city government, and a proven ability to deliver results across sectors. While technical expertise in climate is not essential, a passion for sustainable development is key.
The Regional Director will mentor a diverse team, work closely with C40 leadership, and help elevate African cities’ leadership on the global stage. This is an exciting opportunity to shape a more resilient, equitable future for cities across the continent.
