SouthSouthNorth – CDKN Communications Coordinator

NGO Recruit is delighted to be partnering with SouthSouthNorth (SSN) in their search for an exceptional Communications Coordinator for the SSN-led Climate and Development Knowledge Network (CDKN) programme.

SSN champions national and regional responses to climate change through policy and knowledge interventions, partnerships, and deep collaboration. It does this by connecting people and information, enhancing capability and mobilising resources to respond innovatively to the challenges and opportunities that climate change presents. Situated in the Global South presents SSN with a deeper understanding of, and connection to, the climate and development challenges facing the region. CDKN, established in 2010, works in Africa, Asia, and Latin America to enhance the quality of life for the poorest and most vulnerable to climate change.

The ideal candidate is an experienced strategic communications expert with a background in climate change/environmental science/international development. The incumbent will have exceptional writing, digital media, social media outreach and media engagement skills whilst working closely with members of the CDKN knowledge management and communications teams. You have a vested interest in climate change, understand its impact and how it works at an international level.
