DGMT is a node of public innovation for South Africa driving towards a flourishing South African people, economy, and society. DGMT sees itself as a strategic investor and public innovator, not a grant maker. DGMT operates by supporting and drawing on the grounded innovations of civil society; identifying and incubating breakthrough strategies; engaging in policy processes; and developing strategic coalitions and public advocacy.

We are delighted to be supporting DGMT in their search for an Advocacy Campaign Manager – Alcohol Harms Reduction (AHR).

The AHR Advocacy Campaign Manager will provide strategic vision and drive the development of a powerful public advocacy strategy. The incumbent will support DGMT’s quest to transform liquor industry practices that drive a culture of binge drinking. Working with the Alcohol Harms Reduction Task Team, the appointee will help identify new opportunities and different ways of working for greater impact.

We’re looking for an outstanding individual with the skills, experience and interest in tackling the structural and systemic causes of alcohol abuse.

For more information and application instructions, please see: Advocacy Campaign Manager – Alcohol Harms Reduction (AHR).

Application Deadline: 21 January 2021

Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
